The future of water is clear.
The time for action is now.
W12+ Innovation is Our Approach
Creating dynamic change through collaborative connection.
W12+ is unique in the world of global water organizations; as a connector, facilitator and enabler of shared insights, and a charismatic catalyst of change. We break down barriers to co-created water solutions and raise awareness by disseminating ground-breaking information and providing a platform for pertinent insights to be shared. In this, we foster collaborations between private and public sectors, non-profits and intergovernmental organizations, and facilitate the creation and evolution of new cooperative initiatives, policies, and world-class water-related best practices that serve the greater good.
Bridging divides through partnership and universal access.
W12+ fosters truly equitable sustainability and resilience by engaging global stakeholders through effective partnerships - identifying replicable answers and strategies and delivering them in ways that are immediately useful to decision-makers and community leaders on the ground. Ultimately, at W12, we seek to significantly empower local leadership, through the universal availability of cutting edge global water solutions, applied where they are needed most.

W12+ Worldwide Cities - No longer facing acute water challenges alone

Our Team: Meet the team of urban water-wise experts behind W12+

SOS NPO is a South African based COR15.1C action-orientated non-profit organisation, compiled of on-the-ground teams who roll-out WASH projects into under-privileged schools and impoverished communities in the Western Cape. Collaborating with community stakeholders, government and businesses to provide water, sanitation, hygiene sources and solutions, as well as building needed infrastructure. Projects address water, sanitation, hygiene, climate change and education issues, with a focus on economic empowerment to create local job opportunities for the community.
We include awareness and education initiatives around WASH and the environment, within schools. This includes an SDG Youth Club which will be fast-tracked through all schools in the community. Working closely with local leaders, community elders, residents and organisations, we develop and provide long-term, sustainable solutions which are managed by the communities themselves.

The Institute for Ecological Civilization is a US-based 501c3 non-profit that works with allies and global leaders to design solutions for the well-being of people and the planet.
By convening experts from across the major sectors of society, we have been able to catalyze groundbreaking explorations of the ways that current systems and structures need to be transformed. Ultimately, our goal is to work with leaders to shape the policies that, when implemented, will bring about a sustainable, ecological civilization.
